Title: Pursuing a Wealth of Health
Gender: Female
Age: 46
Location: Albertville, Alabama
About Me:
Most of my activity here occurs in the Gratitude Chain. I found this site while searching for a place where my interest in expressing gratitude for what happens in my life and the things I have will not seem strange or be taken as a sort of boasting. I want to celebrate the good things in life and savor the joys and relief they bring. I want to declare my successes, both small and large, in a place where it is not considered odd, in a place where affirmation and celebration of the good things that come our way, however small, is seen as normal and healthy and welcome.
I moved to Alabama a little over a year ago to be near my fiance. Prior to meeting him, I struggled through two years overcoming lyme disease, which pretty much wiped me out financially (and nearly my parents), since I had not taken care to develop wealth to cover such an event in my life. I had what I refer to as a shrink-to-fit life. I would cut back and be excessively frugal because I had difficulty figuring out how to make good money. Now I am very much about understanding money and using it to create security and as a tool to manifest all kinds of abundance in my life. Not that I've got it figured out yet, but I'm working on it. Meanwhile, I'm hanging on to my job as the editorial assistant at the U.S. Chess Federation (nope, don't know how to play chess).
I share my life with 3 dogs and 2 cats.
I've studied and published poetry but I don't currently pursue writing with any professional intent. It's strictly recreational these days.
